Yvonne Oberhollenzer (Manager, Student Futures Team, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) has managed a range of education projects in Australia and internationally, including a social entrepreneurship program for Ugandan high school students, evaluation activities for a national early grade reading program in Ghana, and collaborative programs to improve teaching and learning at UQ. She has a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from UQ and a Master of Educational Leadership from Macquarie University. She became interested in partnership in 2016, when she led a project to investigate undergraduate student retention and employability using a ‘students as partners’ approach. She believes that working in partnership with students helps to bring in new perspectives, encourages genuine and productive collaboration, and enhances project outcomes.
